Why Judicial Retention is Important

This November, voters in Pennsylvania will be asked to vote to retain various trial-level and appellate court judges. This process—known as judicial retention—is a process unique to Pennsylvania's Constitution. And it's also unique in that it's a process that many voters are unfamiliar with.

The final tabulation of the 2025 Judicial Selection Plebiscite electronic ballots received from members of the Delaware County Bar Association concerning the qualifications of Michael D. Power, Dominick S. Spigarelli, II, Frederick (Jack) Stollsteimer, and Francis L. Zarrilli.  A total number of 836 ballots were distributed to the membership of our Association; and a total of 134 ballots were casted (16.03%).  The results of the tabulation are listed below.
