Summary

  • A brief history of overall Orphans’ Court Rules revisions since 2015.
  • A review of the substantial changes to Pennsylvania Orphans’ Court Rules, Chapter XIV, affecting adult guardianships for incapacitated persons governed by 20 Pa.C.S. Chapter 55, which became effective June 1, 2019.
  • The new rules and forms will be reviewed and compared with prior rules and the guardianship law.

    IMPORTANT: Please note that at the conclusion of the video, you will be asked to provide three word/number phrases to verify your full participation. These word/number phrases will appear during the video presentation, and you will be asked to submit these phrases during the posttest questionnaire.
